Gerard Way
Gerard Arthur Way is the lead vocalist of My Chemical Romance. He was born on the 9th April 1977 in Newark, New Jersey. His is 'Gee', which the band and some fans often refer to him as. He is 5ft 9in (1.75m). Gerard isn't actually American; he's half Italian (his mother; Donna-Lee Way's side) and half Scottish (his father; Donald Way's side), but since he was born and brought up in New Jersey, he is American in all our hearts. He married Lindsey Ann Ballato on 3rd September 2007, and have a baby daughter named Bandit lee Way!!! Gerard graduated from art college, and spent a few years as a comic book artist. Afetr the September 11th attacks in America, which he wittnessed, that he decided that he wanted to do something with his life, so he wrote 'Skylines and Turnstiles', which he and his school freinds, Matt Pellisier and Ray Toro, to start a band. My Chemical Romance was born! (Mikey came up with the name when his Gerard agreed to let him join as the bassist in the band) Their first album, 'I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love' was released in 2002, three months after they formed.
He also has a phobea of needles. Hence the fact he has no piercings or tattoes.
